Isabelle Libmann

I am so happy to be back leading events with Highlife Adventures after nearly two years of being away from the group!  I originally started leading and planning events with HLA three years ago, after a brief stint in Paris (where all of my family lives).  I moved around a lot before college (Hong Kong, France, England and the ever-exotic Allentown, PA) and then attended Northwestern.  I realized in Paris that Chicago is the best city in the world for me so I’ve been happily living here ever since.

My favorite events to lead are the smaller ones and the instructional ones (dance classes, glass blowing, etc.); I’ve seen so much great bonding over group learning experiences.  That does not mean that I don’t love the ice breakers and happy hours. I just love knowing that members are really getting to know each other.

Michelle Hyde

Michelle, a brand new event leader to Highlife, has lived in Chicago for 5 years.  She grew up in a very small farm town (pop. 750!) near Iowa.  She works full time in fundraising and account management for the national headquarters of the Alzheimer’s Association.  In high school, she was voted “Most Likely to Host a Talk Show.”

Michelle’s favorite events to host are those where she can watch sporting events, especially her beloved Bears.  She thinks the best events for new members are the icebreaker events, because it’s a great way to really get to know the other new members.

Lauren Adams

I’m originally from Michigan. I moved to Chicago in 2004 to go to Columbia College Chicago.  I’m currently still in school, getting my BA in photography.

I’ve been working for Highlife for a couple months now and I love it!  I think that the pub crawls are tons of fun and a great way to meet new people!  I also enjoy leading the book club!  See you out there!!!
